There is probably a reasonable explanation but I agree 5pm is a terrible start time. There's no home bball games tomorrow either which makes the 5pm start time even worse.

I love waiting around 2 less hours for this one 5pm start is excellent. Can walk up the hill while it's still light. Collegian hotel is pretty mid what the hell was the university thinking taking away the Sheraton from alums visiting for games. Glad I booked best western downtown for UNC.

Potentially, I know that Utah last year had asked for that weird like Noon start time due to travel considerations. Still I think 6 would have made more sense and been accommodating for Towson. 5 for a Friday night start makes some sense but a 5pm start on a Monday of a non holiday seems really odd especially considering Towson's a very solid opponent.

I just sent a text to friends with the same thought. It is the only thing that makes sense. It is a little more than a 5 hour drive. It would be a lot better to get there at 12:30 am than 2:30 am.
