To be fair, he states all kinds of wild absolutes. Like today, when he said that Dion is as unguardable as anyone he's coached. To which Mssrs. Pearl and Sherm would reply, "Huh?"

Would they...respond Huh? He said as...not most unguardable...also, I recall Pearl not really having a jump shot, but more of a set type, so not as versatile as Dion. Sherm was also not as good of a jump shooter. This is why I think JB feels the way he does. Dion can shoot the three if you lay off him as well as putting the ball on the floor and going by you and finishing...and he's more physical and clearly a better athlete...That being said, the Pearl and Sherm were two of my favorite guards/players at SU.
