Well, that knocks back my expectations for next years team significantly. We don’t have one WR that’s proven to be any good.

Hope Jackson makes it. He would seem to be a slightly better prospect than Etta Tawo and Ishmael were?

If Alford and a couple of our red shirts step up I think we will be fine at WR. Of course it doesn’t help.

Huge mistake... the may be the best WR draft class in the history of the NFL. Terrible year for him to come out. Giving up a lot of money by being drafted lower

Sometimes I wonder if this doesn't work the opposite though. In a year loaded with WRs do you see a bunch taken off the board early too? In that case the run on WRs can work to the advantage vs the opposite for TJ. In a weaker year teams are also looking elsewhere for draft needs and basically looking to free agency to pluck from the weaker positions.

Not running away from anything, he’s running towards getting paid for what he does best. We all want to be selfish and have him come back, but can’t blame him for going. Power to him.

Can this decision be reconsidered like nba? Thought he couldve played himself into a midround pick next year. Now, he might not get much of a shot. A turned ankle could cost him his career. That said, i think he might be good enough for nfl.

My understanding is that he can come back as long as he doesn’t sign with an agent. I hope he is smart enough to forgo signing with an agent until he has a good read on what his status is.

If he is a lock to the drafted in the first 3 rounds, I have no issue with him leaving early. If he doesn’t, not sure it makes any sense.

I don’t see Trishton as a finished product. He made a lot of senseless penalties, dropped a lot of passes, made a lot of mistakes trying to block, etc. He has potential but needs a lot of work,

I wish his success.

Meanwhile, this opens up a spot for grad transfer WR. Serious playing time is ready and waiting and there are some great examples of what Syracuse can offer a transfer WR in Jackson and AET.

DeVito is going to need to find some good receivers if he has any hope of turning pro. And SU would need to win 7-8 games next year for that to happen. That’s highly unlikely.
