This is a test. Ive never had the chance to see if pinned threads move to the top when replied to. Ive never seen it on the bottom of the pins before(below the one Ive clicked on and is now a different color that subliminally marks a border for me) and frankly that's the reason I noticed it and got to read an article about a new basketball and football facility(the location of which I'm curious of). With all respect, I often forget about your posts because of their location Orangeyes, even if I am in a minority(just some feedback). Thanks as always. Anyhow, this is only a test.

EDIT: It stayed in place, instead of moving to it's usual spot as I guessed it might after the first reply. I like it here more anyhow, as I'd be more likely to notice/remember it.

Yikes, also bad news on that Colorado player out for the season...especially with regards to hoping they could knock of Arizona.

Not sure, but from what I've read this general area 43.049447,-76.138371 seems to be what's being batted around as a potential location.
(the now-closed Kennedy Square Apartments - between E Fayette and E Water was mentioned)

lol dang, I didn't mean that specific! :) I later read the another article the 2nd post and it mentioned Kennedy Square like you said. In that 2nd one, the mayor seems to have a level headed approach to it. Politics are a tricky matter to judge, but either way Im not sure I want to see the dome laid to rest already.

re: politics...

Rumor has it, the building of the Dome was controversial. I was not in the area back then, but apparently the school dug first and asked questions later. I have not been able to find any detailed online documentation about the construction, however. I would love to read more on this topic.

As far as it needing replacement...

Of course, the Dome is old (30+ years) but it's a freaking concrete-lined hole-in-the-ground (can you say, bunker?) - what's to go wrong? They replace the roof when necessary, it's got brand new video displays; they added WiFi, etc., so it's not like they haven't been taking care of it. It works, damn it.

I'm am NOT a fan of athletics entities holding municipalities for ransom for the building of new facilities. I guess I live in a dream world sometimes. ;-)

DeFrancisco who is now on the panel thinks the Dome is just fine as is with perhaps a tweak or two. One of those he mentioned was the roof he feels we could get a more durable top.
