Would somebody explain what I'm doing wrong:

I feel so old.

It's not you.

Ever since the name changed from "Twitter" to "X", it gives our website fits.

Here's the workaround:

1. Paste the link to the tweet. Do not hit enter yet.

2. Manually change "x.com" in the link to "twitter.com".

Hit POST as usual.

Here is an unchanged link to Joe Tipton's Twitter post about Aaron Womack commiting to Syracuse.

And here is the same exact post, except I have changed that x before .com to twitter:

twitter.com

And here is what the post looks like if you post in using twitter.com as a media post:


This is the best way to do it. Looks like something was changed recently so twitter.com posts not using the media link are not showing properly.

Thanks, I tried doing that but it's still not working for me.
oh well.

I suspect you probably tried to edit the tweet that you had already posted. I find that if I didn't change "x" to "twitter" initially, and then try to edit my post it usually does not work.

So I delete, and correct it from scratch and there are no issues.

To edit a post already made you have to delete the html, then change x.com to twitter.com.

delete this, then change x.com to twitter.com

I think my issue was with a specific tweet because I'm able to post other tweets.
