Love HCSS but on 4th and 1 why on Gods earth would you take a delay of game penalty from the sideline? Line up and try and get them to jump. That one is without a doubt a complete screw up on his part.

I also dont like the third down time out with the chips on the drive but i will give him a pass on that as i believe he saw that our D was out of sync and confused.

Great goal line stop by a completely worn out D and simply off the charts by the O with that last drive. Going forward can we please give JF half of all carries!!

On the first I believe he was delaying hoping that they would review the spot. Still doesn't stop us from trying to draw them offsides though. I think you are right on the To our defense was a mess out there, but you can argue that his decision was fine, but the coaching was poor not having your defense ready.

JF had 11 carries for 73 yards and they went with him to start the 2nd half plus OT. I assume he moves up to #1 this week.

If Shafer doesn't call the TO and CMU gets an easy TD, he'll get blasted for NOT using the TO to settle everyone down.

After TD with Dungey hurt had the ball on the CMU 45 for a kickoff after 2 penalties. Why not an onsides pooch kick and try for recovery. Instead kick thru end zone and they get it at 25. Some penalty. Coach Shafer will never be a Mensa candidate.
