Tyrone Perkins injury...

His foot looked white coming off the field. I'd think that's serious.

I gotta say, I know it is a game week, but I would have liked to see SU/Wildhack scramble an administrator to Winston-Salem to stay with Perkins, even if he has family there. Perhaps they did, but I have yet to read about it. I just think it is the least we can do for these kids, and to not do so is morally bereft and optically harmful.

And major props to Clawson. I am not a fan of his, but this is way cool and just might begin to change my opinion of him.

Which means we don't know what happened, or whether it was illegal. But there was a lot the refs weren't calling in that game.

You do Know I was responding to a specific penalty that was being labeled as responsible right, not to some possible penalty that was not called. Do you have something to support this ascertion or are you just tilting at illusory windmils.

I would think that one of the medical staff stayed behind with him.

One of the post game articles said

"A member of the Syracuse University traveling party will remain in North Carolina until Perkins is able to be transported back to Syracuse. "

No just commenting on the quality of the officiating. I had no assertion.

Tyrone stayed with the team and school even though his PT was little and far between and is one easy kid to root for even before this injury. Get well soon Tyrone.

That was very nice of Clawson. Oh and can anyone imagine Clawson yelling at the nurse if he thought she/he didn't do something perfect for Tyrone while he was there?

That's funny.

Poor kid, hope he's OK. Football aside, think of the disruption this creates with his coursework to end up hundreds of miles from home in the ICU four weeks before finals in the year he's supposed to graduate. Awful. Best wishes.

Yesterday, got to meet Tyrone Perkins, the @CuseFB player who was seriously injured in last Saturday's game @WakeFB. After the visit, it got me thinking...

Dislocated knee - according to what I can find, could take up to a year to properly heal. Yikes.

Ahh someone posted the post from the adjunct. I knew about it a while ago, but was not sure I could put it publicly out there. Don't be surprised to see him wheeled out tomorrow night for his senior night. His parents are bringing him to Syracuse.
