What I love about this team is the fire…shredder, mikel, Garrett and tuck set the whole tone. Taj and Tommy feel like 200 years ago.

I should add Wax here too. Plays like a fiery beast

So glad our coach was smart and courageous enough to bring in Shrader and make a starting QB change last year. Major turning point for the program IMO.

We need a gritty QB who can run, and will do anything to win at this school IMO.

Don’t ignore bringing in CDRW either…they basically told Shredder he’s got to get it done. Huge

I've got to think that Shrader is going to have the top passer rating in the NCAA after these past 2 weeks. He's averaging almost 80% completions, 5 TDs, 0 INTs. over 300 YPG.

It’s gobsmacking, just astonishing. They tossed the old O and dropped in a high-functioning, efficient O in a single offseason. And brought out the best in a QB that Mike Leach thought couldn’t cut it. Worth every penny we paid to get them.

Who replaced Thompson? I assumed it would be McDonald but I don’t recall ever hearing his name by the announcers (not that that means anything) and then he was out there with the second stringers in the 4th with a new number (#15). Did we just roll with Jones and Wax with another DB?

Yup. Bringing in only…that other guy(don’t want to get banned again) with no competiton for a couple years did not work out so well.

Hoping for a loud 35-38K at the Dome next weekend. Noon isn’t great no matter what - I think the Tennessee game in ‘98 was the last nooner that we sold out.

If we get to 3-0, the Friday night UVa game should break 40K. NC State at 5-0 and Top 20 matchup could get to 45-47K… but that’s a long ways away.
