UConn postgame

If the play clock is running, the game clock is running. Unless you're coming off an OOB run or an incomplete pass. Then, what possible difference does it make?
The amount of time left is irrelevant to whether the play works or not. The only issue is if you leave yourself enough time to run all the plays available to you. So with a timeout left how is :30 not enough for two plays? A play near the goal line takes ~5-7 seconds, and you only need :01 on the game clock when the ball is snapped for the second play. So you have :22 to get a play in and get lined up again, or you can take your timeout if you're concerned.

Mmm my see
This is a popular opinion, but I think people are misunderstanding. Nobody is saying you waste a play trying not to score. You simply want to leave yourself enough time to run your three plays, and not much more.

Yasin scored with :48 left. Had he failed to get in, they had two more tries and one timeout. Had they run the play clock down the extra :24 they safely could have to :05, the play would have ended at :24 on the game clock. That's plenty of time to run two plays with one timeout. You could argue to snap it at 10-12 on the play clock and leave a full :30 after the play, but they definitely left more meat on the bone than they should have.

As a result UConn managed to get their win percentage back to 50-50 when it never should have gotten back above 5-10%.
Dee Brown says score when you can, because you never know what might happen.

The message is that we beat you, but we should
Have beat you by way more because we’re Syracuse and you’re UConn.

It’s disrespect. But also, as I said before, is it wrong?

The sprints weren’t a result of the score.
It was about FB seeing players not playing with enough intensity.

Maybe UConn needs to get over themselves.

I’m kind of fuzzy from earlier. Did Antonine make 2 pbu’s late in game or 1?

3rd and 3 at SYR4 - (00:00) No Huddle-Shotgun Fagnano,Joe pass incomplete short right to Porter,Shamar thrown to SYR02 broken up by Deslauriers,Antoine.

4th and 3 at SYR4 - (00:00) No Huddle-Shotgun Fagnano,Joe pass incomplete short right to Vereen,Juice thrown to SYR00 broken up by Deslauriers,Antoine, TURNOVER ON DOWNS.

Fran must have talked to Mike Messere.

If anyone thinks it's disrespectful get a thicker skin or kick rocks. Fran's first and foremost worry should be to his teams focus and effort among other things. They played like azz today win or lose. Great way to get their attention and it sends a better message than making them run if they lost, or in practice on Monday. It just doesn't have the same impact days later. Good for Coach.
ok so flip it. you'd be cool if it happened to us ? like there wouldn't be 100 posts about disrespect ?

You have the best breakdowns on the board. Everything from statistics and articles is extremely well organized

But no one but SU fans know that context. Most people just see the game and the sprints.

But anyway I don’t disagree. If UConn doesn’t like it, they should have won. God knows they had opportunities to do so.

UConn didn’t like that we did sprints? Where’d you see that
