UCONN vs. Memphis

Love how people say every team has an NIL vault but us. Memphis isn’t in the big10 or sec. Where do they get the $$ from? Why can’t SU get $$. Cuse is a rich kid school. wheres the money?

99 pct of the time this is true. There are a few heavy hitters but by the time cuse catches up, they are already behind by a mile unfortunately… even right now the melo center is starting to feel old

Glad Memphis pulled it out and I can enjoy the tournament now had a little on the ML. With West Ham winning this could be an epic sports day if Michigan covers and McNeese State wins.

Was driving by it the other day, I know they're doing a lot of work and the inside is nice, but the outside isn't really attractive at all, are they planning work on the exterior?

4 of their starters have been to at least 3 schools and the 5th start has been to 2.

"College" basketball is an absolute joke.
Cry me a river. It's minor league pro ball and these kids can get degrees if they want.

Minor league sports suck as well and really should have an age cap of 25/26 of their own at that point it's kind of a get a job bro thing.

Wishing these guys were playing for free still is like wishing the civil war went the other way.

Inside is getting dated. The weight room is tiny and they are missing very important workout equipment. The football offices is what you see a lot of work being done on, not the melo center

The vault doesn’t matter if you hand cash over to someone who can’t play

I hope this is in jest. Memphis is flush with money. Fed Ex money. We have nothing like that
Again. Excuses. We are a rich kid school., not a state school. Where is the money?

Ok I guess i didn’t know that. But still seems like every single school we compare ourselves too has a source or a guy. where is our money? We had guy……

Watching Memphis and UConn...they just look like they play harder. I'm sure it's because they are better athletes but they just look more competitive.

State schools also produce 4-5X as many alumni each year as we do due to enrollment, and last I checked there are a lot of alum from state schools with lots of cash. Simple math. And, let’s face it, Red is very well liked but the enthusiasm level isn’t nearly as high as it is for football right now.

The guy we had wasn't putting out real money compared to what other guys or entities were doing.
I'm not ever going to be critical of someone donating money to the University or the collectives. However, a lot of people are off base on exactly what was happening here. As for the guy's other point, I really wish we did have someone that would pony up that kind of dough.

This is why I can barely watch it anymore it's no longer about the game but about individuals.

very nice to see those huskies finally take a loss today, hopefully this year they won’t be back in the finals
