I have serious doubts this team is getting out of the 1st round. Your looking at Army whose gonna absolutely punish this teams continued mistakes and turnovers. McCool has also joined the last 2 SU goalies in fading down the stretch late mysteriously. Again this is 100% on Gait, same mistakes over and over and over.

McCool uses his stick like a flag girl on the Cheer team... he relies mostly on his large frame to get stops...

Again I don't care if it's harsh or an overreaction, the coaching staff are losers. No winning coaching DNA. Not once at any point in this season were they superior coaching staff. Talent inertia was the only reason for the team's wins.

This has gotten to such an untenable position with the staff that there needs to be conversations. I don't care about next year being a step back. if you can't do anything THIS YEAR what makes you think you'll ever do anything in the future?

Enough. Be done with it. Chemotti will leave his shoes in Richmond if you give him the call since he'd be out the door on the way to the dome before the call ended.

Unless they do serious work in the portal which I’m sure it’s clear in the lacrosse world that this team is underperforming and undisciplined, not even knowing resources, it’s going to be a tougher sell than it should be. Does Blair have any idea what’s coming for this program if they can’t deliver right now? The lacrosse world is probably fairly new to him.

Love gait for the sport but I honestly think he’s NIL and a name more than an actual coach. Gotta be someone more fit than him and March.

Lost in our own misery is the fact that UNC played sloppy as well. This score could’ve been much worse.

Desko would have done a better job with this group . Gait has hidden behind this false narrative of progress - I would sure hope so given the talent and where the bar was but Gary is a waste

I think we quickly forget what the last year of Desko was like with the Chase Scanlon stuff and other issues. Trust me, I am a huge Desko guy. I also think we underestimate and forget the key role that Kevin Donahue played with the offenses. Lelan Rogers was also faltering later in his time with the Orange. It was time for a change.

l do wish that SU had done a national search for the head coach. Maybe we would have brought in some new coaches for the defense and offense with a different choice. Gait went with Petro and has stuck with March. Odierna had a good start tonight but has been hit or mostly miss in big games in my opinion.

The dumb mistakes def killed but mccool can’t make any big time or must have saves ever. He is avg at best n that is being nice. Also started losing faceoffs n when that happens have to take care of the ball more we don’t. Absolutely no in game adjustments in second half. They crushed us on that baxk door feed on zone all night. Why didn’t we talk n say hey we need someone to be there so that pass can’t be made. This game was without doubt ours but as always they shot themslves in foot.

I agree dwan is just not worth his dumb mistakes specially for a senior. As i always stated if it’s ur seniors constantly making the dumb mistakes you are cooked. Round 8min mark again in 4th they fell apart again. Can’t play complete full game. Also i’m sorry someone needs to tell leo stop with these terrible shots. Also why do we throw it in net when clock running out n no good chance to score instead of throwing it to corner?

Honestly this team don’t deserve a chip. It’s us fans who deserve it. For putting up with all their BS n frustrating play n losing a game they clearly should have won. They owe it to us IMO. The syracuse fans deserve a chip. Sadly this team can’t take the right step towards that n such a talented team will once again do nothing.

If they were 0 fer in the Acc that argument would hold up. They blew out GT, beat uva and Duke, won at Denver and beat Maryland when they were 100% healthy. Talent has nothing to do with continuingly going off sides, inability to beat a 10 man and unforced turnovers.

We’re not going to outrecruit the southern ACC schools. Kids want to go to warm weather schools. It’s a reality we have to deal with. We’re lucky we have the Dome.
