UNC Practicing Against Zone Tonight

Please add last year to the g-town part of your post. it's not like they did that every time they came to the dome.
It says last year: However we all know what happened last year when Georgetown came to town. Unless I'm missing your point.

That's rich coming from you. Again, go read my original post or any if the ones that agreed or said the same. Then go read your responses. You took it to the psych couch.

Honest question--what color is the sky in your world? How does me downplaying the unfounded armchair psychology attributions made by you and others constitute me taking it to the psych couch? In actuality, it is the complete opposite.

Orange

You must be extremely sensitive or humorless. My wife went to UNC so I am well aware of what's been happening there.

Mostly sensitive. Give me a break, you know how it is when the media is out to get you, facts be damned.

the media hasn't been out to get UNC. They had a course that no one had to go to. That isn't a story?

that might be the best answer to a question you have ever given. Orange is the color in all of our worlds.

That's like the 3rd time you have said something was my best post ever. I feel the love.

I have been having such fun reading these posts this morning! But as to the question above, Cooney first had the mental intention to make his legs stronger, and then he did it. At its deepest level, this kind of thing can come down to a spiritual level. Mahatma Gandhi said:

Our beliefs become our thoughts, our thoughts become our words, our words become our deeds, and our deeds become our destiny.
Hare krishna hare krishna hare rama hare rama

LOL it's just rare...Many of us have waited for years...

HAHA! Can't really blame you for this since you most likely live in New York and probably don't spend much time reading North Carolina newspapers, but the local media (and one paper in particular, the News & Observer of Raleigh) has been out to get UNC from the get-go, to the point of risking their credibility over it. Forbes wrote an article about UNC once and cited the N&O instead of fact checking for themselves...the blowback was so severe that Forbes had to issue an apology and take the article down, because the N&O's "figures" were shown to be made-up. It really has been ridiculous.

As far as the course goes, no one had to go to it because it was an online, independent study course. It required a paper at the end. Somewhat sketchy? Of course. But Michigan, Auburn, etc. did the same thing, and in all three cases (including UNC's), the NCAA stated that the courses were not a violation. Heck, NC State fans are the ones raising the biggest stink about the courses, when their QB (Glennon) took an entire semester of online courses when he was playing for the Wolfpack his senior year. Theoretically he never even had to step foot on campus except for practice and game days.

I am sorry but all I read is blah blah blah blah blah blah... UNC is a dirty program. Best of luck Saturday :)

I hope the people in this thread who are sorry Miami won because UNC now has a psychological advantage can somehow overcome the psychological harm this may have caused them.

My prayers and thoughts are with you...

The media didn't leak Julius Pepper's grades, the media didn't create a fake African American studies department or the classes in Portuguese or trap Hairston in that car, etc...

That being said I think the game Saturday is extremely dangerous.
