Coach Babers said that he allows the players to choose the captains and pick the uniform combinations. He only cares about senior day since it is a photo opportunity for the parents and players.

I think they look great to be honest. This whole uniform deal is so overblown its redic.

I have friends of different teams who absolutely love that we have so many combinations. Plus if we win who really gives a crap what color our uniform is? One friend is a diehard PSU fan (barf, I know) and he always complains about how we get so many cool combo's and they only have one. So the grass isn't always as green as you think it is...or in this situation the grass isn't always as blue.

I guess they just dont bother me. I am out of town and watch pretty much all games on TV...have never had an issue with them.

I'd like tradition uniforms for 6 games a year and mix it up the other half. But homecoming, first home game and senior day should always be traditional.

I don't mind ONE of the pieces being blue, but all blue just doesn't work for me. Blue and orange together makes for a great contrast and can look really sharp.

I can agree with that. If they modernized some of the older era uniforms for those games, always. Then have several options for the kids to pick and choose from like they do now.

I think at times people forget that the uniforms are for them...they aren't for us.

That's my biggest beef as well. That said, maybe Dino likes not having the numbers too big so the other team can't read them as quickly? Probably a Nike thing but still you never know.

We should endow a position in the AD. The only requirements would be:
1. Must be a SU fan
2. Must have working eyes
3. Must be older than 25

That combination clearly doesn’t exist right now.

Haven’t they said the players choose the uniforms? If that’s the case then I think that’s a good thing that they can choose what they like.

The problem is that 20 year old kids (~avg age of the guys on the team) dress like clowns and don’t realize it until years later.

Letting them choose *every week* isn’t good for long term brand equity.

It’s one thing to do it 1-2 times a year as a recruiting hook, and it’s another thing to do it all the time.

It's just because the old ones were Soooo good. Classic, clean, defining, and awesome. I don't see the appetite for them fading. New ones? Meh. They're all right. Just tough going from the #1 uniform in conference, to the worst.
