It’s frustrating. But because of the Big12 title game and others this weekend, this is a case where nothing may be decided until then. But I have to believe the CWB is leaning one way.

I keep seeing BC, who Addazio said was playing for an ACC 'championship' 3 weeks ago, heading to the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit. They fell very hard and very deep.

Brett McMurphy, former ESPNer, Yahoo and now Stadium has us vs. Michigan St. in Pinstripe. He has good sources (he broke the Zach Smith story) and is Florida-based, where the CW Bowl is. Might be back to the the House That George Built.

IF the opponent is Iowa St, then NC State gets Camping World, because - reasons??

Iowa St is a big MEH-burger, regardless of whether its Syracuse or NC St playing them.
How does the Wolfpack make it any less MEH than SU does??

Pack "fans" aren't known for travelling well, like, at all.
Half of NY lives in FL, either permanently or as snowbirds. We'd PACK that place.

PSU is going to the New Year's 6. the only good thing about playing MSU is they can't score anything, our Dline will feast on their crappy QB. but, give me WVU in Camping World please

West Va vs. Washington St. (Alamo) will happen before West Va vs. SU. Alamo Bowl picks before Camping so it’s makes sense that SU vs. Iowa St is the new popular projection from the experts. Alamo gets the shootout.

Perception of traveling fan base. We know we don't travel well, but for some reason the Pack is perceived to travel better than us. Have no idea if it is warranted or not. But our reputation is what it is.

SU should get its fans to sign some type of petition committing to the CWB and send it to the bowl committee. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Wildhack has made a pitch to the CWB about the number of SU alums and fans scattered across Florida and the south that would attend the game.

But, of course, the perception is that every SU fan is from the Syracuse area. I get it all the time — I live in Connecticut.

Penn State isn't in Top 10 of CFP so they are likely not going to a NY6 bowl, but they will likely go to either the Citrus or the Outback.

Our fans traveled pretty damn well to every game this season based on the chants I heard on television. And you could hear them pretty loudly in every game.

They should play some of those videos and audio sound tracks for the committee.

I think the Florida destination this time of year has a lot to do with it than Nashville where it may not be much warmer than say, southern Ohio. Although, obviously Nashville is a cool city, no pun intended.

Location: Orlando, Florida - much more appeal for the fan base and the team. Average high in the 72-73 range for that time of year.

Payout: (Correct me if I’m wrong) Split amongst all ACC teams. So that’s really a non factor.
