USALAX Way-Early 2026 Division I Men's Rankings:

he posts on fanlax under the username 1766 though for some reason he lies to his fellow rutgers fans, saying that he doesnt post on fanlax. real bizarre... hes gotta be the biggest sociopath in the entire online lax community and there are a lot of em

That is 100% him, you mentioned it a few years ago and I had a feeling it was also the same person. I started paying attention and he would use almost the exact same language or verbage when he would post about the same topic on both sites. He has a toned down personality on fanlax trying to throw people off but it's definitely him.

Very strange place sometimes. Even the d3 section has some really strange posters.

I take offense to the bolded. You have no idea of the things I’ve done.

This doesn't include Princeton so it must be from New Jersey. I'll see if I can find another one that includes them.

Here's another set of odds to win the 2026 NCAA Men's Championship that includes Princeton. This is from a website called "betus". --

Maryland +250
Syracuse +250
Princeton +450
Georgetown +1000
North Carolina +1200
Cornell +1200
Richmond +1500
Notre Dame +1600
Penn St +2000
Ohio St. +2500
Army +2500
Duke +3300
Virginia +3300
Harvard +4000
Johns Hopkins +4000

There's a long way to go. 76 days until the season starts. 77 days (reportedly) until our first game. Go Orange!!!

Stinks.

Ahhh bummer. But better OSU than a lot of places. He will definitely have no playing times issues there if he is healthy. Ohio state would be in tough shape without the portal this year but with him and Sharpe from Yale they may be able to put something together. Birtwistle is quality too if he is over the knee injury.

Good spot for him. Cuse was probably involved and he would have been a fascinating piece to incorporate but I never felt he was likely to end up here.

Assuming the Leo information is true your likely looking at the following:

Attack - Spallina, Leo and Thomson
Midfield - Rhoa, Anderson, ?

My initial thought is McIntee might be the guy. Though he looked fantastic in the fall.

2nd line is likely some combo of McCarthy, Hottle, Hahn, Rawson and Kellogg.

Worry a bit about the 2nd line, need one of the frosh to be ready early and McCarthy to expand on how he played late versus the horrific shooting we saw most of the year.

* Edit * - Kraftson and Deere should also play a role just not sure where. Kraftson could play some mid but I think his future is at attack next year after the massive graduation losses. No idea what their gonna do with Deere. Seems to be the 4th attackmen but barring injury not sure he's gonna see the field all that much. Wish he had redshirted his frosh year or would consider one this season.

Someone can correct me but it seemed like Deere played midfield during the fall, and maybe even on the first line? I am not sure how much they were mixing and matching lineups, and with Leo being out it's really hard to tell who is supposed to be "starting", but that's what I gleaned from highlights. Would be an interesting development given how he was dropped from the attack spot before the UVA game (and not moved to midfield even though the second line was struggling). Perhaps with an entire offseason of preparation at midfield, he'll be better prepared?

Kraftson seems like he's had a big fall. Could be nothing, as Fall Ball is littered with other players who had big Falls but never translated those performances to the Spring. Perhaps Kraftson is just the best of the backups? We shall see, but it seems like he's earned himself a shot. I thought that given he started at attack against Binghamton in the last scrimmage, that might confirm that Leo is slated to start at attack?

I’m not sure about starting, but Kraftson is legit and is the next man up (imo). Interested to see how he impacts an ACC game against different caliber defenders. You have to think he’s the closest profile compared to Spallina so he might have one more year of learning and growing before he gets a shot at the right flank or X.

Kraftson I am 95% sure is a lefty. If Leo is out to start the year it would likely be between him and Anderson for that lefty spot. He started at lefty attack in the last scrimmage. Yes it was fall ball, but he made some excellent plays in that game and also looked good in the Princeton/Army highlights. He will definitely see the field somewhere this year.

Leo should be back full go by the start of practice. Kraftson definitely projects at attack in 2027. Could see him getting run with the 2nd mid line in 26 and as a 4th attackmen if there are injuries.
