Gonzo still scares me, and Bruce needs to call in Danny Williams + Mckennie to play central with Bradley. Middle is so wide open. Hell I'd play Cameron as a CM hes played it in Premier league he can play it for us.

Not sure if McKennie is ready but his coach loves him. He got the start against Bayern a couple weeks ago. Williams is the guy I really want to see in the squad. He, McKennie, and Acosta are the type of athletes we need in central defense.

Mckennie is coming.. soon. We need to keep these three attackers and place three CMs behind them. Nagbe isn't good enough and Arriola is a wing player.

I think we want a win at T&T. They're last in the group, and if we only draw, mathematically we could still wind up in the playoff.

Re-watched a condensed match. Pulisic and Jozy will get most of the headlines, but Wood was fantastic. He missed a few opportunities, but he had a hand in so many of our chances going forward, including all 4 goals.

Mexico may have to return the favor from last WC cycle and beat Honduras on the last day like the US did for Mexico in Panama.

Yes but it’s all about matchups in the draw.
Pot 1 will have Russia and the top 7 ranked teams that make it.
Pot 2 the next 8 top ranked teams.
Pot 3 the next 8.
Pot 4 the lowest 8.

We want to avoid pot 4.

Currently we sit ahead of Japan, South Korea, Egypt, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia. Egypt is only a few spots behind us, Iran is currently a few spots ahead of us. All of these teams have already qualified.

We may also finish ahead of:

UEFA D (Serbia and Ireland likely finish behind us, Wales finishes ahead. If Ireland holds off Wales, that'd be wonderful for our chances)
Asia/Concacaf Play-in game (Australia/Syria/Panama/Honduras)
Africa Group D, C, and A

Right now it looks like we barely avoid Pot 4, but it's still a possibility we end up there based on how rankings move at the end of this month.

Oh yeah, and let's beat TnT to make sure we qualify first!

Greece and Ireland atleast have shots in the UEFA playoffs.

I doubt New Zealand can beat a South American side.

Also as long as the USA is in pot 3 they have a chance to advance it will
All be about matchups at that point.

Wow the Argentians need to win this to have a chance at making the World Cup. I can’t imagine Adidas would be happy with no Messi at the WC.
