i hope you are right----the only flaw was that most players disliked lombardi BUT respected and feared him

Let me just use the Lombardi angle here. This guy could coach any team and win. He had no idea how to coach basketball but won anyways, that shows a good coach can simply coach and can relate/motivate/teach his players to have success.
