We have been playing better the last few games, even though we lost. It’s like they are finally getting it and now the season is over. Eddie from the get go was determined to bring the fire, and he did! Crowd loved it every time he got the ball.

Funny how no one - I mean NO ONE - trusted the lead.

It was poignant to say good-bye. One lady I have sat behind for 20 years has cancer, bad. She bought me and my daughter the cutest orange earrings.When I hugged her goodbye she said, “I hope I see you next year.” Made me weepy.

It was a fun game. Crowd had fun; team had fun. At the end when the walk ons went on the team had these towels they were waving around the jumping all over the place. I noticed Donny was as enthusiastic as the rest.

So we play FSU at 7. If we play the way we have been, we can beat them. I would love a win against SMU.’

JJ was our 4th scoring option and we were solid offensively all game. I don’t think that’s a coincidence. He still shot poorly, but 1-5 is easier to deal with than 12-15 missed shots. He also made some nice passes!

Lampkin abused Buchanan. He’s such a solid player on offense and rebounding. I think he benefited from UVA not really having anyone inside so his D actually looked ok.

Taylor finally got to play big minutes and kept up the hot shooting. No need to play Bell when Taylor is doing that.

I really think the trio of Lampkin, Freeman, and Davis could have been one of our strengths this year with better coaching and health.

I criticize the coaching staff for a lot of things, this is not one of them.

They don’t have to make sure their players are dressed appropriately so they can check in. Players can be held accountable for some things, too.

I don’t know what the tiebreakers were but imagine if we were able to close against Va Tech and/or SMU. We could have gone up several seeds.
