Vitale: "Syracuse isn't going to lose in the regular season"

A loss or two before the Big East Tourney may not be the worst thing in the world. I don't welcome a loss, but it would remove that distraction and reset the goal on the big prize.

UConn twice, Louisville twice (despite their recent troubles), Gtown, and WV. While I'd love to see it happen, I don't think it will.

Exactly. Vitale is just trying to push the issue to increase the size of the target on SU's back. Too many tough games coming up, in difficult venues, against teams who are maturing as the season progresses.

You people have not been watching the rest of the league very carefully. The 2nd place team in the league is Cincy. Since the big brawl a month ago, they have lost only one game, on a tip-in at the buzzer. Next Monday we play at Cincy. We could easily lose that game. How can you mention Lousiville and not mention Cincy (particularly on the road). Louisville is in 11th place for cryin' out loud, just one freakin' game out of 15th place. And you are worried about them but not Cincy? Hello!

Sort by BE standings after 5 games ---> become expert.
L'ville still ranks higher (barely) in pomeroy. You conveniently leave out that the tip-in loss was to St. John's at home. They've also squeaked by 'Nova and Oklahoma at home - it's not exactly Phog Allen.
It is a game we could lose, sure. But we don't need to go around insulting anyone who thinks @L'ville will be a tougher game.

Or did you just pass out after trying to pick fights with lots of guys who actually care about Syracuse basketball, unlike yourself?

I like the Pic of our Football Coach as your image, because we need guys like you who can learn stuff about our roundball team. You have passion, we appreciate you, and we love you.

Please keep coming to our board, you will enliven us, and you will enjoy your education into our sport.

You are a true fan, who enjoys his games. Speaking for everyone here, who loves you equally!

Syracuse can never have too many fans who love the Orange.

Thanks buddy.

Albanycuse and I signed off on this.

;)

You get pom poms from CTO!
Now I don't like the way Cusefan79 came at you (as we are all Orange fans here). But its absurd to say because he watches other teams play he is less of a Syracuse fan. I watch as many College basketball games as I can with the intent to measure my team against whatever team I am watching. That and college basketball is as entertaining a sport as there is. Watching future opponents play helps me guage how we stack up when we meet, who i think presents a match up problem and who we should toy with. This helps my stress levels, as I will likely die of a heart attack watching a game someday. I watch because I am a HUGE Syracuse fan, not because I care less about the team.

Bla bla bla bla bla.

Anyone know who we play next?

I'll remind you ......It's Notre Dame......get ready for that road game. Think its going to be easy? Watch them play, they have some talent.
Worry about Cincinnati after you take care of NOTRE DAME!

Just said it during the Baylor game.

Said we might have some trouble during tourney time, but we will win out in the Big East.

Schulman said "they go to Connecticut" and VItale pretty much shrugged it off.

Does Vitale even know who is playing in the Big East anymore? Has he watched even one conference game? Dicky has been on cruise control for a long time now

Has a team ever gone undefeated in the BE Regular Season? I can't think of one.

I don't think since they expanded.

We went undefeated if you don't count Louisville in 09-10 though right?
