Bo Ryan is my least favorite coach in basketball right now. I can't imagine a more classless national championship game loser than what he said after losing to Duke. So him losing to a team that bad is kind of awesome.

I can relate to your sentiments even though I dont remember(may not have even heard) what he said. I just know that he beat Kentucky, something K may not have been able to do. That's what I remember from him last season, and the feeling it gave me. I was in a Badger bar that night after waiting for it to get under capacity(I have one about 5 blocks from me, oddly...not sure if I will go for the SU game or not lol), and felt a kinship with the fans. I don't hate the conference like many folks on here seem to(it's been more stable than many, and there's some jealousy), so I personally don't feel it. If whatever he said was that bad, I dont suppose I could blame you though. Does he outrank the other hated coaches on here with you?

I don't like Bo Ryan either but have never had any issues with Wiscy hoops, though their style is a bit dull. I loved their team the past few years with those seniors. They played very well together.

Insomnia is the scourge of middle age. I type this at 4:48 though I did get a couple of hours sleep before awaking to use the facilities. However I've read the traditional sleep pattern into the 18th or 19 th century was four hours asleep, two or three hours awake spent praying, walking, reading, contemplating life or making the beast with two backs, then four more hours sleep. The electric light bulb did a great deal to alter that.

A team loses the player of the year and probably the best side-kick (Dekker) in the game last year, and they're still ranked #17. Voters put way too much into what a team did last year.

I was also surprised and displeased. As everyone on the board knows, I was raised in Wisconsin and went to the UW. Their coming to the Dome in a few weeks means I will be pitted against friends and family. When I was walking home last night, I was feeling gloomy about our prospects to beat Wisconsin. Now I see that they themselves got beat. Confusion reigns!

I would just like us to play well against them. And I will try to arrange my thoughts to imagine that WILL happen!
