I think you and others discredit how good Lydon was and what he offered going into the draft.

Battle may not even go to the draft this year.

Kid was a legit 40% 3 point shooter for two years. We’d have final four potential with him on the team this year.

No discredit to Lydon. I thought he would have had a better chance at succeeding in the NBA had he stayed one more year. Thought it was a 50/50 thing, though. He just wanted his ranch a year sooner.
Battle, I don't know about. Has some things to work on, and i don't thing the NBA will love his quirky jumper, and especially so after the Markelle Fulz and Alonzo Ball seasons, but he's strong enough and smart enough.
