Those types of situational fundamentals have to be drilled and become second nature over time, starting in camp. They need to know to adjust their routes to the proper depth, or the QB needs to know not to throw that. Blame is shared by the staff, but that includes Dino and is largely on him since he probably decided what to focus on in camp.
