I, like anyone here, am super exited for today.

However, I am especially excited because I have convinced wifey that we don't really need to leave Portland until 8pm. Thus I will be able to watch the Texas Bowl with my 70 year old dad, whom I have not watched a Syracuse Game with since he was working in Des Moines and I took him to @Northwestern in 2008(?)

I will need much coffee to drive the 14+ hours through the night down the 5, and hopefully the mountains will be clear. Also, I will be very very tired by 11am when Nova tips...

But, such are the sacrifices we fans make.

I had forgotten what gameday feels like already. I'm stuck at work but cant concentrate, can't sit still, have tunnel vision, limited capacity to deal with BS. 2 hours from now I'll be a mess.
