In 2003 I was teaching in Durham, NC - tobacco road. Nearly 50/50 split Duke & Carolina in the area with a few NC State fans smattered in. It would be impossible to describe the satisfaction I felt rocking my 'Cuse gear. My mother-in-law had sent me the life size Carmelo from the Post Standard (you had to piece him together from separate pages printed in the paper) and he was an integral part of my classroom too. (Still is - but now I'm back in CNY). Thoroughly enjoyed streaming the watch party and thankful for the memories!
