I probably asked this before, so I'm sorry for asking again, but is it possible to watch a game on WatchESPN from the beginning if you log on in the middle of the game? Or is the only way to watch from the beginning to wait until the game is over and they start the replay?

Never tried but I'm guessing the latter.

No, I'm pretty sure there is no way as I've been researching this the last few days. I'm in the same predicament having to work late. I really hate picking up games in the middle or knowing scores before I watch so I'll probably be turning devices off and starting the replay after it ends.

Me too.

You start at whatever the current game time is because it's a live stream. After an hour, they usually have the replay up.

Yes, at the conclusion of the game they usually post the replay.

Can I add on to this? How long will the replay be available? I'm out of town Friday and get back Saturday evening. I will attempt to watch on my phone but I'd rather be able to really watch the game without disruption. Is it usually available on replay the whole weekend?

Don't quote me on it but I think replays are available for 30 days after the original airing.

Same here. My son is starting his freshman year in high school football, so it is the first time a Friday night game has caused a conflict.

Here's hoping the replay is up shortly after 10:00 pm.

I wonder if I can pause the game at 7:01 and then resume when I am able, at 9:30 or so.

I've been looking for 2 days for this answer. There is a new ESPN app for 4G apple tv that was just released. I can't tell if you can pause on that or not. My 3G apple tv and my older version Roku I cannot pause a live game but I can pause a live game on my iphone7.

Maybe someone else knows what devices other than my phone can live events on ESPN be paused.

I have to get a Chromecast because my Onkyo receiver got fried by lightning .. nothing else (tv dvd apps) has the espn app to send to big tv .. cant stream from iPad or Macbook

you could just get a roku/firestick and skip the casting to the chromecast unless you stream other crazy stuff to the TV, that eliminates one whole step.

Any of you guys use Roku Premiere? Went to set mine up today and noticed that, unlike the older Roku 3, you can't hard wire. Only uses wi-fi. My wifi is strong, but there's nothing as fast as the cord.

Just wondering if anyone finds Premiere to be better?

I just recently picked up a new TV and i passed over more expensive models for the cheaper one because the 'better' TV's didn't have an ethernet port. We're primarily a streaming household but i was specifically thinking about WatchESPN. I prefer to hard wire.

I really hope they don't start getting rid of the port and move towards making it all streaming.

Yeah, it was a little surprising opening it, because the unit itself is bigger (giggle), but then less ports.

So... bigger with less holes?

Anyone have the newest Apple TV, interested to know if you're able to pause live games since I can with my iPhone but not my old generation apple or roku.

I looked for the replay on my ESPN app and it wasn't there. .?

I attended the game Friday and then watched it on ESPN3 on my Roku when I got home yesterday.
