I have been a faithful fan for 30+ years now, home games, away games thick and thin BUT I have never wanted to see a coaching change more. Even when that disaster Grob was here at least I knew we were going to get beat and I could clearly see we just didn’t have the talent to compete and SU didn’t appear to want to be in the football business. Fast forward to now love the Dome updates that cost millions and millions, I see athletes all over the field especially on defense and the results are dumpster juice. All that said what makes it even more of a sh$@ sandwich is we are paying this guy more then we have ever paid a head football coach by a considerable amount, Even worse we could possibly be paying him enough that he is here another year!!!! ( I don’t believe that to be the case) Dino seems to be a class act great guy, but one horrible coach. Ohhhh and for the love of god I don’t care if the damn water boy is the QB next week I do not want to see Tommy in the game anymore. Kid doesn’t have it, play anybody anybody at all just not him. I hate to pile on a kid but he is not and will never be the answer. Thank god I got a golf tournament next week so I can get a reprieve.

Amen. Tommy is a 5th year senior, you can’t teach what he lacks. Go with Garrett, at least there is some chance for something good to happen, not a good chance but with Tommy it’s zero chance

Went to the game with parents of 2 kids. This didn’t come from them but they were really disappointed. Both kids play on D. They really like the D coaches. Its my prediction because good coaches are always in demand and these guys are smart. Everyone knows Dino needs a miracle to be retained once his buyout is handled. But to answer your Q its purely a guess.

It was over last year, to many Dino fans used Covid and other excuses when it was clear this team felt an offensive standpoint is incompetent. Year 6 and it's still the same issues, no qb, horrific playcalling, a dozen penalties a game, zero clue in clock management and down and distance. Wildhack should call Marrone Monday, and make it happen

I’d be so annoyed if i was Luke Benson, he’s a weapon in a functional offense. ignoring the TE position in 2021 is a joke. Travis Kelce, Darren Waller, George Kittle, Mark Andrews, i could go on and on. Having a good TE is a game changer, mind boggling that we just flat out ignore the position.

Today was the culmination of the last 3 seasons, incompetent offense with mistakes all over the field. Atleast in the early years we had some identity and the losses were exciting and gave us hope.

Since dungey left I can't think of a loss when when it all settled down you can mind some positives, the year willie taggart and steve addazio got fired they blew us out of the stadium where we looked as if we didn't belong.

Let’s be honest, Schiano out coached Dino by a mile.Made me mad as hell watching Schiano play the refs while Dino tried and failed with those same refs.Coaching won this game for Rutgers and coaching lost this game for the Orange.

What's Babers so called offense supposed to be, he used to get mad when people would say it's the baylor and art briles offense. I remember being at a radio show a few years back (2019 I think) where he and matt park scolded a caller for comparing DB's offense to the air raid.

What happened to running 100 plays a game and Orange is the new fast?? DB has completely lost his identity and with that whatever chance at success we had. With the schedule we play each year SU should be going bowling more years than not!

I was even feeling this way last season, with garrett he might miss a throw or make a bad decision, those are fixable, in 2019 which was TD's 3rd year in the program when everyone was making excuse after excuse for him.What he did on that end of 2H drive was ED like and I am confident in saying TD not only doesn't make those plays but he likely takes a sack or two.

We certainly are lacking the position players, 3 is great and 14 has shown promise but besides them we have nothing. Maybe we have a lot in the WR position but they haven't shown anything with DB at the helm. At this point what does he have to loose, GS should be QB1 starting monday.

Please. We have a young and fantastic defense with a ton of potential. We’ve got a few solid TE’s and RB’s. An offensive line that can still improve a lot.

This program needs a coach that doesn’t suck. The players aren’t the issue.

I had a serious conversation with a RU person after the game. He said a very similar thing. The players are not the issue as he thought we had more talent than RU. Point blank, he said Dino needs to go. This loss was and is on Dino. We could add the OC to the list and Special Teams Coordinator (if we actually had one).
