Should have changed coaches after the 2nd probation came down. JB is so set in his ways, he has forgotten how he originally coached when we had players like Sherm, Rosie, Louis, Pearl, DC, Billy, Rony, Stevie. That's the way players want to play now, not walk the ball up the floor, and sit in a zone.

I’m not convinced following Nova’s model is necessary. Maybe. What’s for damn sure is that our staff needs to figure out how to retain kids. Other programs do it.

There is nothing wrong with what we are doing no one else loses recruits to the garbage league. Nova has the same type of players we do they don't leave after a year or two.

so you are saying follow the player development model. how are we going to do that when we know our coach is a short timer?

but why would a development type player commit here when they have no idea who the coach might be in 3-4 years?

We've been to six Sweet Sixteens in the last ten years. Villanova's had two. They're both great teams with the two best coaches from the next generation, but we are much better than mediocre. Sanctions are off. We will be top ten again next year.

Jim needs to work harder. If he puts the effort in he can still recruit. Our staff is solid but cant close without him. Its up to JB and i seriously dont think he has the stamina to recruit on an elite level anymore
