What late game coaching failures are we talking about here? We were down 11 with like 3 minutes left and got it to OT. Are we talking about Kyle not getting a shot off at the end of regulation? Because I liked that idea and to be honest thought it could’ve been a foul (but I get the refs swallowing the whistle there).
I mean, we bucked up a 3 out of the time out 3 yards off the line down 4 with 17 seconds left. The look on Reds face made it appear like that was the play. That seemed like a pretty big whiff.
What does that have to do with anything. We had two one seeds where one faced an injury and another a suspension. The FF team during that period won 30 games and lost on a BS charge call. We basically were in the top 10 weekly for 5 years in a row.
I’m so sick of these stupid posts. Autry has done an excellent job of changing the style and energizing the defense. We run tons of sets and got a ton of great looks against the best defensive team in the country. We shot it poorly except for Betsey, missed a record amount of free throws and still were right there to beat #2. Yet still people want to harp on the coach. The hate just dumbfounds me.
Yeah.. That was a really good cycle.. Elite teams, reload year after year, decade after decade and win titles. We haven't been doing that.. Dayton had good teams then as well, wouldn't call them Elite.

20 years ago we won the national title. Our second golden age from 2008-2016 (with two #1 seeds, a number 1 ranking, two Final Fours, an Elite Eight and two Sweet 16s) was only coming to an end 10 years ago. We were elite then.

You are correct. Everyone only plays 3 games. Actually top 14 will finish playing on Nov 26th and go home. Only the bottom four will stay in LV and play on Thanksgiving Day.
