I'm OK with the "S". We were logo-less for so damn long that it was good to (1) create an actual athletics logo, and (2) use it on gear.

I agree in theory but our identity was no S on the helmet and a blank Orange helmet. We still could have used the block S as our logo.

The worst logo we ever had was like 1997 when we made the Dome our logo.

I'll still take that over the logo that made us look like the St. John's Light Orange Storm.

The current block S logo is one of Gross' best accomplishments. I don't mind it on the helmet.

I always felt the solid orange helmet was our signature look (knowing that there logos/numbers on the side back before i started watching). I also feel the "S" is not really original...Stanford, NC State...
