Week 1 Uniform Thread for WMU

I always felt the solid orange helmet was our signature look (knowing that there logos/numbers on the side back before i started watching). I also feel the "S" is not really original...Stanford, NC State...

It's not so much about others having an S, it's about having our logo on the helmet for branding.

There's no right or wrong. Many do, many don't. Of all the Power 5 teams, I'd guess it's about 50/50.

As I said, I don't mind it. But if we went back to numbers, or we went back to just solid orange, I'd be fine with either of those too.

If we went back to winning more than we lose, I'd be fine with that too.

Hey, did anyone realize that we should have uniforms like they had back in McNabb's day? I didn't realize before looking at this thread that a lot of people don't like those darn numbers. I didn't have any idea these were terrible uniforms until someone said it. We should also be wearing a solid orange helmet, and have more orange on the unis.

With our current options, what's better than orange, white, orange?

Funny thing is, i loved our practice unis this year and yes, the practice unis in this color combo would look great and be,a big improvement on gameday. Keep it simple *tupid, right? Those 44 degree gothic numbers and the 44 angled fade stripes just kill everything.

This the final season of the contract so puma come on dowwwnnnnn lol in all reality the uniforms were a Hollywood gross move (thank god he's gone) im a younger guy ik what kids dig and in all honesty the nassib era were sharp uniforms we looked professional and above all you turned on the tv and immediately knew that it was cuse playing.

I like the helmets, the sleeves, numbers, and graphics on the side of the pants kill everything. Chasing that NYU look and the 44 degree angled lines kill the whole look. NOT to mention, Nike made them in the WRONG shade of Orange. Can't make this stuff up...just can't...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, our solid orange helmets get confused with the Cleveland Browns. I try to avoid all comparisons to Cleveland and the Browns franchise.
