With normal numbers, these wouldn't be half bad.
Agreed.

I always felt the solid orange helmet was our signature look (knowing that there logos/numbers on the side back before i started watching). I also feel the "S" is not really original...Stanford, NC State...
They'd look outdated. I'd go with an updated Nassib era uni
It's not so much about others having an S, it's about having our logo on the helmet for branding.
There's no right or wrong. Many do, many don't. Of all the Power 5 teams, I'd guess it's about 50/50.
As I said, I don't mind it. But if we went back to numbers, or we went back to just solid orange, I'd be fine with either of those too.
If we went back to winning more than we lose, I'd be fine with that too.
Oh please let them bring back the tear-away jerseys.it's honestly the least of my uniform issues. I think Wildhack is cooking up some retro uniform excitement for next year anyway. Hold your nose for one more year.
With our current options, what's better than orange, white, orange?
Can't wait to actually talk about football in a few days.

I'll still take that over the logo that made us look like the St. John's Light Orange Storm.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, our solid orange helmets get confused with the Cleveland Browns. I try to avoid all comparisons to Cleveland and the Browns franchise.
Is it not the orange in our branding guide? Am I blind? The S or no S debate is the least of our worries when it comes to our unis and our look. By far, the least. I like the helmets, the sleeves, numbers, and graphics on the side of the pants kill everything. Chasing that NYU look and the 44 degree angled lines kill the whole look. NOT to mention, Nike made them in the WRONG shade of Orange. Can't make this stuff up...just can't...
