Stupid question- these are the same away uniforms for the whole season or just this game? I never participate in these threads. Am hoping they are different every game so I can be mildly upset like many others posting here.

I just don’t see the problem with these...I can see the numbers fine from the upper deck at the dome and the combo for this game is standard. They are fine...start winning some games and going to bowls and no one is going to give two s#*%$ about uniforms...

I don’t think that winning has much impact on uniform debates. SU hoops wins a ton and people talk about the uniforms all the time.

It’s a fun topic where no one is wrong. Not sure why some get so angry about discussing uniforms. People should listen to the game on radio if they don’t care what things look like.

So will start with I am certainly not angry about the uniform debate Scooch, my opinion was simply there is nothing really wrong with them and the saying “winning usually solves everything “ in my opinion applies to the group of posters grousing because they are ready for some ball and winning. Then there is a complain for complain sakes demeanor with some other posters on this board. I guess there is a 3rd group who thinks it’s fun? Ok I guess my comment would not apply to you, thats fine. My take would be if your so worked up about game uniforms, you may want to listen to the radio...(shrugs)...I care more about wins, how we win and the food and beer, not seams, color combos or what numbers look like.

I was in school when hoops lost the script font (‘94 or ‘95?) At the time I loved the change, but I’ve wanted to see the script back for all sports, including football. Just sounds fun.

I know I made this observation in another thread, but imagine a Syracuse version of this exact uniform. Make the helmet all orange, and make the yellow stripes orange instead. Boom, you have a perfect Syracuse uniform that captures our historical brand. Why is this so complicated?

The stripes on the numbers and the sleeves are very 1991 LA Gear.

The white jerseys won't change. There will probably be different combinations of blue-white-platinum helmets and pants.

I know I made this observation in another thread, but imagine a Syracuse version of this exact uniform. Make the helmet all orange, and make the yellow stripes orange instead. Boom, you have a perfect Syracuse uniform that captures our historical brand. Why is this so complicated?

I believe a helmet, shoulder pads, jockstrap, pants, jersey, knee and thigh pads. Oh cleats too. And likely gloves.

Spot on, it isnt THAT complicated . That's why our practice unis this year would look great on gameday. Not kidding. Simple colors.

Talking about unis is okay, but these unis are now three years old and I have heard the same comments from the same people for three straight years about all the reasons they don't like the uniforms. I get it. The world gets it. You've made your point. Stop beating the horse, it's already dead.

I come into this thread simply to see the color scheme, and then made the mistake of moving down in the thread where the same stuff is being discussed ad nauseam by the same people in the same exact way. If we still had records, they would all be broken.
