Week 13 ACC/FBS Games for Nov 19-23

I’m predicting Alabama will somehow still get into the playoffs. It’s like a rule you can’t have a playoff without Alabama and all this chaos will somehow justify it.

Well there goes another possible at large. I might have been right earlier that Miami can lose to us and still get in. That's 3 SEC schools eliminated today.

I am sure Alabama fans are freaking out. They are used to 3 losses in about 3 seasons. Now they have 3 in the year.

We got chance on AP poll. AP pollsters don't like to reward losers of the week on their 20-25 spots. So those 8-3 Big 12 and SEC schools might not receive votes if they lost this week. Same with Army and Washington State.
I can see Army and definitely WSU but we need at least another team or two to drop out, there are also receiving votes teams ahead of us who won today. I think we will be 27th or so in both polls.

I think I heard right on College Football Final that if A&M beats Texas they go to the SEC title game, so they aren’t dead yet.

I think Bama is still going to sneak in as like the 12 seed even with three losses. People will freak out but they still have a lot of quality wins.

I saw Colorado State lost, I am glad because that, barring a big upset next week,, sets up a UNLV-Boise rematch in the MWC title game. Ohio, also barring a big upset next weekend, will be going to the MAC title game. So our UNLV ranked win is even better and that Ohio win has turned out to be a very solid one too

It will be interesting to see where teams land.

1-3 will remain the same. Personally I would have ND jump PSU. PSU's loss is a lot lot better, but ND has looked more impressive. Either way those are your 4 and 5.

Miami has to be 6th. If they beat SU and lose a close game to SMU, do they sneak in? I think they are last team out if that happens.

Indiana did not look good. I think UGA and Tennessee jump them for sure. So does Indiana fall behind Boise and SMU? Or get 9th?

Those are your top 11 right now IMO. Bama is going to be 12th. That will be plenty good enough to make it. Even worst case for them (everyone wins out), they will jump the ACC CG loser and get the 11 seed in the playoffs.

I was half asleep while watching it but a controversial TD was called back during the Bama game and Kalen DeBoer was absolutely beside himself. Like hyperventilating on the refs 5-6 plays later.

That's the issue with the three CFP contenders from the ACC. They seriously lack quality wins (not one in the latest top 25 CFP poll amongst the three of them).

If Miami beats SU then they play SMU in the ACC championship game. The loser will probably get in because of all of the carnage that took place yesterday but the reality is their schedules are much easier than what the contenders from the SEC have faced.

Sadly the Big Ten getting 4 teams may result in 4 SEC teams. Question is do they want to not reward 3 losses? I'm not sure any of the SEC teams have good enough OOC wins to deserve to get in with 3. If Bama had beaten Texas maybe.

I think 2 loss Miami after we beat them gets in over 3 loss SEC. The Big 12 is awful of course a 2 loss Iowa State if they don't make the CCG won't get in over Miami.

Absolutely. Agree 100%.

It all comes down to how much they weigh strength of schedule, in and out of conference.
