Week 13 ACC/FBS Games for Nov 19-23

It all comes down to how much they weigh strength of schedule, in and out of conference.

It looks like there is room for 2 ACC teams and then 1 3 loss SEC after last nights results? Or am I counting wrong?

I saw Colorado State lost, I am glad because that, barring a big upset next week,, sets up a UNLV-Boise rematch in the MWC title game. Ohio, also barring a big upset next weekend, will be going to the MAC title game. So our UNLV ranked win is even better and that Ohio win has turned out to be a very solid one too

Problem is no-one seemed to care that we beat UNLV. They are ranked ahead of us.

SMU would beat Bama. ACC right now deserves 2 bids.

A lot depends on SU/Miami. If Miami loses then its Clemson and SMU in the title game. As I said earlier, a two loss Miami team with no championship appearance, a stolen VaTech win and zero top 25 wins should not get into the CFP over a three loss SEC team that played a much tougher schedule. If Miami loses in the ACC title game then they still probably get in unless they look awful.

I'd say SMU would be in either way unless they get crushed in that game. Of course I am assuming SMU beats Cal this weekend. The Clemson game against a surging South Carolina team is important too. Still too many variables to be sorted out.

As of this moment Vegas odds to win the CFP show four (UGA, Texas, Tennessee and Bama) of the top eight are SEC teams. Miami, SMU and Clemson are 9th, 10th and 11th, respectively. fwiw

Oregon probably makes it in with 2 Ls. So do they go extremely vanilla vs Washington to safe guard against injury?

I don't think any SEC team loses to a non SEC team this playoffs. Whomever missed out could definitely beat Oregon and Ohio St. One of the arguments to keep it at 3 teams is to ensure there can't be an all SEC final four which I think is gonna happen regularly.

But it's not a 12 team SEC playoff.
