Interesting that teams like Miami (and Syracuse) are maligned for their D but Oregon doesn’t play D either and Ped State can’t stop Oregon. Shootouts are fun. I’d rather see Miami in than a low scoring bore fest.

If SMU gets hammered by a 3-loss, #17 team they probably don’t deserve to be in. I don’t buy for a second that the committee won’t penalize a team for losing a conference champ game. That room has all the integrity of Spiro Agnew on a coke binge.

It’s OK for 9-3 Bama to be blasted 24-3 to a 6 loss unranked team though. (2x actually including vandy who’s also 6-6). It’s all stupid.

If they penalize a conference championship team then teams will just opt out. Dumb

I like defensive football but I agree that there is no consistency with the critiquing.
