I’m really hoping that they have a sustainable product. The college football off season is horrible and I can’t stand being without football for so long. The XFL seemed promising but I don’t think the new ownership has the resources to make it work in 2023. The USFL and it’s partnership with Fox Sports seem to have a plausible strategy; play all games in a bubble city and build the tv audience up first. I seriously want some spring football to tide me over between Cuse seasons.
The result will be the same as the recent launches of XFL 2.0 and he AAF. Decent ratings week 1 from the football junkies. Rating decline sharply after they figure out the product sucks.
