Well, that just looks like an ACL injury

The staff speculating its serious per the announcer means the trainers told them its most likely an ACL tear. The MRI will confirm tomorrow. Huge blow to the team. Chino is now our backup center

That follow-up dunk looked like Jerami Grant last year.

It's honestly shocking to me that there aren't more ankle or knee injuries in all of basketball.

We're talking about guys with 30+ inch verticals jumping up together and landing with massive feet.

It's insane.

We should have never sold those nets after the Duke game last year. Bad karma for a couple grand...thanks Giansante.

When I tore my ACL in college it was exactly like that. If it's anything else I will be shocked. This is a dagger. Those of u who have said we won't is him, be careful what u wish for

So will BJ play now, or are we going iron man basketball now

Id like to see BJ get 5-10 minutes a game

The fact that Roberson and G didn't come out for 1 second after CMac got hurt means that we'll probably only see BJ if one of those guys get in foul trouble

Had this same injury type/awkward landing happen to me multiple times and it was a patella dislocation. This kind of injury doesn't mean it's an automatic acl injury.

anyone have a screen shot of the play (stepped away from the tube for a minute)?

Really feel bad for Chris. I'm absolutely certain that this season has not been anything like he expected. He has had difficulty dovetailing into the college game and a serious injury is going to really test his mettle. I'm hoping that it is not season ending and that he will have a speedy recovery from whatever the injury is.

He was afraid of getting hurt and now his fear has manifested. It must be awful for him! And not so great for us, either.

Let's pray and hope for the best for McC. You just hate to see that happen to anyone, especially one of our own. SU is very shallow in depth if he's out for extended period.

Or. . .BJ had not been getting the reps in practice, and was not ready to contribute tonight. If need be, they will re-jigger the roles and prepare for the rest of the season using what bodies are available. BJ has shown good rebounding skills (albeit vs less than ACC-caliber opposition). Let's hope he can find his shot.

That could change with prep time though.
