Well, that just looks like an ACL injury

Many of these knee injuries look worse than they really are. For example the center from unc last year, that looked catastrophic but it wasnt.

I don't know--McCullough looked like he was in an awful lot of pain. Also didn't look like he could support himself or put ANY weight on his leg as he was being helped into the locker room.

totally agree. He's like a bag of wobbly bones out there. Potato legs.

I was down on the court watching him in warm-ups and I mentioned just how awkward he looked out there. Limbs everywhere and he didn't seem to have much control over them. The injury is honestly not all that surprising when I think about it.

I'm holding out hope, but I was a little squeemish watching the replay. It looked pretty floppy.

All knee injuries are different, you could have a torn acl and walk off the court . Here's hoping it was minor.

He looks awkward everytime he comes down. I think it was at Michigan where he fell, and it looked like a catastrophe, but he was able to bounce right up.

It's good to have hope. But that's a catastrophic knee injury. Same as onuaku we need to not kid ourselves.

Onuaku was a quad injury though, no?
Yep. Just comparing it in the sense that it was catastrophic (not a tweak).

Victor Cruz had his torn acl diagnosed in 5 minutes. Just a wild guess but if it was a torn acl we'd already know.

I'd guess access to the MRI machine is today.

Certainly looked bad from courtside. Took three tries to get him upright then he tried to put some weight on it but couldn't at all. Doubt we'll hear anything but lower body injury and timetable for return if any.

I'm considering him out for the year and hopeful that he can use the time to build his upper body and be ready to go in October as a best case.

Not necessarily with all this right to privacy stuff these days. "Lower body injury" is the likely diagnosis. We seem to say as little as possible as a program.

Remember that these guys are amateur athletes. There is no real reason to say exactly what is wrong with them.
