Based on our Maryland game attendance, the military bowl should give us a long look. Think we represent well there.

We need USF to beat Rutgers. also remember UTSA is not eligible as it is transitioning to 1A. Need Louisiana-Lafayette to beat UL Monroe tonight. Also need South Alabama to lose.

I think the Beef O'Brady Bowl in St. Pete is also available...but the Military is better for date and money. The games before XMas interfere too much with finals.

Clemson is 99% making the orange bowl regardless of outcome since all they have to do is finish top 14 and orange bowl will use there replacement pick for fsu(being in championship and #1)


bowls we will be eligible/have a chance to be selected from acc tie ins:

Russell Athletic Bowl(unlikely but there is a chance and were eligible based on 1 win rule)
Sun Bowl( only if duke goes to Russell or chick bowl)
Belk Bowl(unlikely as I figure unc/Georgia tech or Virginia tech get this)
Music City Bowl( 25% chance here, first realistic option)
Independence Bowl( 25% I figure us Maryland or bc go here)
Military Bowl( 25% same as independence bowl)


At large Bowl possibilities(25% chance we go to at large bowl):
Compass
Beef Bowl
Little Caesars Bowl

there is a reason that got stuck in the compass bowl 2 years in a row they don't travel well and we finished with a better conference record

Looking at the Pitt board, they seem to think they've got a shot at the Military Bowl with the same reasoning that might help us - ACC should stick it to MD.
