Pretty sure a quarterback change isn't something that ever gets overlooked by defensive players or coaches. Agreed, there's no need to announce it, but we weren't going to slip that by anybody.

I've never taken a formal poll, but my guess (based upon my own playing experiences) is that Cooney had no clue what veley was announcing during the game, nor did his teammates or opponents. These kids are freakin locked in. They hear their coaches, teammates, officials, and maybe a bunch of white noise.'
Same with the football thing. The notion that some naive team doesn't realize that Broyld is in at quarterback is pretty incredible.
He's annoying to the fans because most fans arent locked in the same way. Frankly, i am amazed Boeheim hears him and it makes me wonder where his head is at.
