Like it or not, they can crush almost any team in the country, so winning and/or looking good is unlikely to happen, no matter how well we play and/or how much we grow/improve.

So with the above in mind, what does success look like?

Is getting out of the game without injuries good enough? Conversely, does success depend on putting in real effort throughout the game, getting a good flow on a handful of drives, or something else?

I would say yes to this. Anything within 35 points TBH. If we can score a couple times, get a FG. I would say 49-17 is success. Sad but true

Getting out of the stadium without any serious injuries.

My version of success is not necessarily measurable tho it could be. We have gone into every game with Clemson in recent years and in most cases I imagine Dabo and some of the players from Clemson walked away saying “Effin Syracuse, took a punch and gave a punch”. These guys know they are underdawgs. That doesn’t mean ya walk in with your tail between ya legs. It’s not how big the dog is in the fight, its how much fight is in the dog. Its a success to me if they go out and show some fire...some fight...some pride. Get some turnovers...get some sacks...hold them on some 3rd downs. Take it to them.

I would like to see us keep it within 7-10 points at the half. That would be a nice showing.

Provide enough entertainment to distract me from the pain I will be feeling from the vasectomy I am getting the day prior??

I'm not sure I would watch this game if I was in your shoes. I can see a world where banking on the SU-Clemson football game to ease your vasectomy pain might not end well.

TMI. I also think you might have that backward. Hopefully, the ice pack for the vasectomy will distract you from the pain the game will cause. Good luck with the procedure!

It's not really that bad. The game will likely hurt more.

No injuries and don't get overly embarrassed.

Keep it to 50.
