Hopefully, Linton and Thompson are healing and good to go. We’ve barely seen Linton’s potential. Losing Cisco is such a blow to the defense in so many ways, including his leadership and his size and strength, Our young DBs will be giving up 25 to 35 pounds to Clemson’s RBs and WRs. We need tremendous efforts from Trill and Iffy.
I‘ll measure our success, not by the score, but by the fight in the dog. Chris Elmore doesn’t care what the line says. He is going to compete. Anxious to see how many more of our guys bring that attitude.
For the first time this season, players’ families can attend. Hopefully, that, too, lights some fires.
It will also be interesting to see how our veteran guys, Black, Kingsley, McKinley, Trill, Iffy, Servais, Hackett, Nykeim, Taj, Etc., measure up. If you aspire to play in the NFL, you have to prove you belong in a game against Clemson, even if, this season, with so many injuries and defections, your team does not.
