What happened to our OL???

The OL was a strength the past 2 years. We only lost Mackey this season. I know he was very good, but are you trying to tell me he was that important? Plus everyone is telling me how good Miller is. We have taken a huge step back, which is mind blowing considering Hickey, Trudo, and Foy have started for 3 seasons, Robinson 2, and Miller is a JUCO. Other then the loss of Mackey the only other variable is Adam. Is he that bad? Have we changed our blocking schemes? No matter how bad AJ is we should be able to move the ball with such an experienced offensive line, that has had success in the past. The Nova game was foreshadowing for what was to unfold.

Exactly. I posted essentially the same thing below. Forget the injuries, the OL was fully back today and they sucked, like they sucked during the opening game against an FCS team. There is not a single decent offensive lineman on this team. You could put Tom Brady back there and it wouldn't make any difference. They can't run block and they sure as hell can't pass block. Next year will be a barrel of laughs.

I'm not a huge fan of FHCDM, not because he took a better opportunity, but because he raped our coaching staff at the 11th hour. But, he has forgotten more on coaching O-Line than this entire current staff will ever know...

We slimmed down to run a hurry up and then abandoned it without gaining the weight back.

It's on McDonald and Shafer - not Adams, IMO.

(Plus - to say we've been bad there all year is a simplification - some games we were bad and others we were fine).

He did a horrible job. Every reason to believe the OL would be good this year. Opening game vs an FCS team, they sucked. Last game, all back from whatever injuries they had, they sucked.

The coaching staff quit on the seniors. They stopped playing to win games, and instead played to keep the final score down. I'd like to know how they walk into the locker room and tell Cam Lynch that the coaches left it all on the field today when they didn't.

A coach who has never did i say NEVER coached the OL at any level in his life. He is the biggest mistake that HCSS has or will make. Horrible hire
