What is ACC tournament seeding tie breaker?

If we and UNC both finished 9-7 and Duke 9-8, Duke will be the 9th seed. UNC and SU will be 7th and 8th seeds. But which one will be higher seed? We split the two meetings. What are other tie-breakers?

It seems the next tie breaker is inevitably record versus other seeded teams, starting from the top down.

UNC beat FSU, who is currently the 1 seed. We did not. Pretty sure that gives them the tie-breaker.

Thanks for the info. It’s looking very very likely Cuse will be in that dreaded 8/9 game that starts at noon. I hate those with a passion!

Looking at this more...

I see UNC lost to FSU earlier this season as well, so I think the win and the loss offset each other.

I think both teams lost to UVa so the Cavs are immaterial here.

We have a win over VT. UNC only had one game scheduled with the Hokies and it was postponed. So we might have an advantage if VT can hold on to 3rd place in the standings.

They are 9-4. UL is 8-4 and even Clemson is 9-5.

They beat UL. UL claimed they were unable to play both games scheduled against us so they have an advantage if UL ends up the 3 seed.

UNC lost to Clemson and had another game postponed. Assuming we beat them, this is another possible tie breaker win for us. But with a loss to us, they would be low enough in the standings where it probably won't make much difference.

That VT-UL game scheduled for tomorrow is a big one. We will be rooting for the Hokies (and they rooting for them to win at NC State on Saturday). UL's other game is against Virginia. It is very possible they could lose both and finish in a virtual tie with us.

It would come down to NC State and we would win a tiebreaker with UNC. We played NC State an equal amount of times as UNC we went 2-0 they went 1-1.
If we beat Clemson and Duke beat UNC we would be above them.

I’ll do an ACCT projection after tomorrow but we could finish as high as 6th if Clemson doesn’t lose twice this week.

We want Clemson to beat Pitt so we wouldn’t be a 3 way tie with UNC.

If we beat Clemson we clinch 8 at worst.
Then would need GT to beat Duke and Duke to beat UNC.
We would be 7.
If GT loses twice and Duke beat UNC we would be 6.
