He went out on a limb in a very public way to back his long time assistant. Now what?

Does JB go public with a "let the legal system handle the situation" quote? Does he still back Bernie?

Strongly worded apology for his "lie" comments, pained words over betrayal by Fines, etc., and hope that gets him through this

he no longer backs bernie. He does say in a somber tone, let the legal system work.

As I said in another post, the only one who should be discussing this is Chancy Nancy. The University must speak with one clear voice and Boeheim should be muzzled this time around. Give him a canned statement to read apologizing to his victims and admitting he was wrong and then he needs to focus on the season.

The real leadership and crisis management here needs to come from the top. She did a great job when the allegations came out and I want to see how she handles these newest findings. I want to hear from her today.

100% agreed until the last sentence. She did the right thing & when the investigation is completed she should continue to do the right thing. She took the right initial steps by creating a situation that removed BF from the program while at the same time protecting his rights as the investigation played out.

I don't want her reacting to each new allegation or detail. Let law enforcement handle it & be prepared to be completely open and transparent when they're done.

JB's next move is to do whatever the the Chancellor tells him to do. And then thank her for it after he does it.

JB doesn't say anything, Cantor calls for a press conference. It would have to be assumed that if JB knew nothing, Cantor wouldn't have known as well. The next logical step would be for the highest person on the totem pole to do the talking. This really doesn't have anything to do with the University, they weren't protecting anybody in the program. This was a very private family secret, with only whispers being heard.
