And with the upside down league this year, it will be interesting to see what the all league teams look like. Suddenly FSU won't be getting 5 or 6 players on.

Bowls that aren't local to SUs footprint aren't going to be itching to take them because of the fanbase; it's one of a smaller private school and no one knows how well they'll travel.

I didn't say we would be 8-4. I said what if.

Its all good, i get it. I love playing the what if game. CFB is so whacky that now our BC and Wake games look as tough as the Ville and FSU. Crazy, at this point its actually hard to say which of the 4 is tougher! We need to take care of biz at home. Go Cuse.

The Hi-C " You're Higher Than A Kite " Bowl

The Keep Dreamin' Bowl.
Otherwise, the Get Serious Bowl.

If SU gets bowl eligible its all about the conference record. The ACC allows bowls to take a team below SU as long as that other team is within one game in the conference standings. If SU wins 2 more their ACC record will be 4-4. Unless it's the Pinstripe bowl SU won't be taken over a 5-3 team. The 4-4 and 3-5 teams will probably get taken over SU in all bowls except Pinstripe. In this scenario SU either goes Pinstripe or the lowest bowl game on the list. Unless SU wins the ACC title game or loses it and goes 7-1 in ACC play they will never get the upper tier bowls. A 6-2 SU would get jumped by all the 5-3 teams. At least they have a one game rule so the 2001 VT to the Gator Bowl fiasco won't happen.

Best they can do is 6-2 in ACC play, no?

Hard to believe it's been 5 years...

I'm talking about future year scenarios with the 7-1 or 8-0, but yes 6-2 is the peak ACC record this season.

I think NCSU will go to the Belk if they don't make the ACC championship game. They would draw a huge crowd.

For selfish reasons, I'd like to see us play Texas or some other Big12 team in the Pinstripe Bowl. We would have a great turnout and NYC is always fun for a weekend trip.

That last Pinstripe Bowl game against WFVU will forever go down in my memory book. Hi Geno.
