I guess you're talking about momentum, like when we won 25 in a row, and then really faltered. Then, it seemed like suddenly everyone knew how to play us.

Without a coach making adjustments, I don't see how momentum could have carried us through this season.

Too long to gel? This team didn’t gel at all this year. They won back to back games once since early January. They weren’t even good enough to gel at any point.

If you play the “what if game”, they probably win 2 more games if JJ doesn’t get hurt. They blew double digit leads in 3 of last 5/6 I believe. They were winning in 2nd half of 7 ACC games and lost them all. They probably win 2-4 more if Donnie is healthy because Eddie really started to play better as the season went on and so did Carlos.

I’m an optimist but this is what happens to teams throughout the year and they didn’t figure it out from a coaching and execution/winning perspective.

Its the classic case of “if my grandma had wheels, she would have been a bike” (please tell me you all have seen that clip- if not I’m posting it)

SU beat LeMoyne and Colgate by fewer points (6) than we lost to Texas and Texas Tech (9).

The question should really be “what kind of season do we have if we had lost to LeMoyne and Colgate”. Since that was more likely.
