playing NW , scoring pts in bunches, giving up 2 punt returns and losing, or playing vill, running no offense giving up only 10 pts and 1 punt return and winning?

if the offense plays like people thought they would this game was 40-13 and everyone things the D played solid.

I'll take the win.

Watching the replay... The scary thing is Villanova outside their scrambling QB didn't really play that well. They shot themselves in the foot repeatedly.

I think the poor tackling was way more the issue than what Vill did on offense.. they didnt have people running for huge holes, they ran for 3.2 yds a carry and thats with a D that missed dozens of tackles. that can get cleaned up.

Perhaps it was just me but I thought the secondary played piss poor last night. When ever Robertson left the pocket he often found wide open receivers, or with the DB looking the wrong way. Robertson is a heck of a QB, gots some real smarts and the physical tools.

It's not just you--the secondary was collectively lousy.

When we blitz the DBs have their backs to him in man coverage. They also ran a lot of man beater crossing patterns in anticipation of our blitzes. Just out coached.
