White Made His Decision on Friday

I'm sorry, I don't believe him. I think he wants to show respect to VCU and his home state by making folks think it was a tough decision for him. Classy move if my suspicions are correct.
I promise you this ^^^^ is correct.

He didn't just get that gear in his picture a couple days ago.

I stand by all my previous posts.

Syracuse Basketball: Why the Orange have a chance to finish in top four in ACC

Syracuse was a middle-of-the-pack ACC team without the services of White. But now that they added the 6’7″ guard from Richmond, VA, things look a bit different on the surface.

The Orange now legitimately have a chance to challenge North Carolina, Louisville and Virginia for a spot in the top four of the ACC standings. Duke is obviously in a class of their own and the addition of White does not definitively solidify Syracuse’s standing as a top four team. However, it certainly is a reasonable scenario that Boeheim and company couldn’t imagine 24 hours ago.

I expected to challenge for top four without him, and I expect to challenge for number 1 with him.

Agreed. Duke is going to be talented, but very young up front. We will be very tough to beat late in the season.
We will have an extremely veteran team. As veteran as you are going to find in the top 10 in college ball. Talented, experienced and two deep at every position. A different than usual sort of challenge for JB.

I respect what Virginia has done the past three years, but I am not as high on them this upcoming season. Losing Brogdon, Gill, and Tobey will result in them taking a step backwards, imho.

All of their best returning players are either guards or wings - Perrantes, Hall, and Wilkins. Could surprise I suppose if Salt develops.

UNC will be good again. I think top three in the ACC comes down to Duke, UNC, and SU.

Cheers,
Neil

If Syracuse isn't a top 10 team with all of this talent AND experience, I'd REALLY like to see what it takes to be in the top 10

I don't think it is unreasonable to assume that we will not be top 10 preseason. It doesn't really matter though. Because, if the talent gels, we will be by tournament time.

Yah who gives a shizzle what were ranked preseason?

I thought the same, I will give you Duke, but we are right there with Unc and Lville for the next spot in the Acc.

I'm way jumping the gun but with the ncaa the way it is, this team could be 2012 good...1 loss in reg season type season...

Agree 100%. This team as now constituted has size, depth, shooting, guys who can create off the bounce. And did I mention size?

He he uses the roster much like he did in 2012.

I know its going to take some time for these guys to build chemistry, but from a talent perspective, only Duke has more. I don't understand what these people are thinking picking us 5th or 6th, I saw somewhere we were 9th lol.

It's funny, I love Howard and I think he's completely being discounted here. With the weapons he could be a 8-10 apg guy...

Those things are meaningless. Click bait.
