I think most of us have booked hotels in Orlando.

But who is so confident that he’s committed to a flight?

OK, I’m bumping my own thread because I think it strips our the bloviator posters and gets down to the core guys.

Who has booked a flight?

I have my hotel booked. Won’t pull flight trigger til official. Ritz Carlton Orlando. My wife and kids demanded something called a lazy river. I have no idea what that means.

Apparently it’s connected to the JW Marriott Grande lakes. Anyone there drinks are on me on the 27th. Great golf course on property too

This core guy didn't plan to take additional time off around the holiday. Guess I'll just bloviate at home or whatever.

Flying into Tampa, everything was sold out trying to get into Orlando on the 26th

Nice. Let’s get some more of these real-time logistics posts instead of the whiny laments about how we should woulda coulda been here or there.

I live 3 hours south so just waiting for the confirmation then gonna book a hotel and drive on up.

I'm flying back from visiting my son n family the day prior...I expect to drive over and back on gameday. I have a few Cuse fans for the day coming too.

Though I'm really hoping Camping World Bowl for the team and most of my SU fan comrades, the only one I'd make it to would be the Sun Bowl so won't "pull the trigger" unless my preference for the team to go to Orlando is denied...kind of a catch 22...

I've been in Seattle for Racial Equity training since Tuesday, here til Saturday night. 9-5 each day, then putting in 5-6 hours of actual work once I get back to the room. I haven't even looked at flights yet. My plan is to head to NY around the 19th so I can spend the holidays with the fam. I keep hearing tix from NY to anywhere in Florida are ridiculously crazy. I have a good amount of Alaska miles, but that would only help me from like Newark or JFK to Orlando. I'll spend some time figuring things out on Sunday when I get home.

We did just find out that I have my first major report since I took over this program, due to the NIH on Jan 15. Was supposed to be February. There's a decent chance I spend all of Christmas break in the office.

I know there's times where I'm supposed to be responsible and whatnot, but Dino's first bowl game, ED's last game, is not the time to start

Thanks Adam, hope to see you in Orlando.

Thanks to all who have responded.

I booked on Jet Blue earlier in the week (out of NY area) in hopes something would clarify within the 24-hour free cancellation period, but of course things became clear as mud with word of the 200-member selection committee, Giglio's confused reporting, etc.

Disappointed that John Wildhack hasn't responded here with his Orlando itinerary :p.

John, dont be shy. You can enlighten us under a handle such as...I don't know...maybe JohnSyracuse.

This board as ever has been a great source of communication -- let's keep it going!

Live in Tampa and have New Orleans booked starting 12/29 for New Years. Camping World literally could not be any more perfect for me.

Just booked another Jet Blue flight.

Come on John Wildhack...I mean John Syracuse.

A little help here?

I’ll be there, probably air bnb route with friends though.

So what you’re saying is....we will see you there?

Haven’t booked anything, won’t until Sunday when everything is all shaken out and its solid where we are going

Either way 99.8% chance I’ll be at the game wherever it may be.
