On the hot seat
Randy Edsall Maryland
22-33 overall and 10-23 in conference play (ACC and B1G).
The press and fans are calling for his head. The brutal conference schedule look daunting, but he has had a couple of good classes, which may buy him a little more time.
Mike London - Virginia
In 5 1/3 campaigns, London is 24-41 and 11-29 in ACC play. Hard to imagine anything that saves him after starting 1-3 this year.
Dave Doeren NC State
NCS plays the softest schedule of any P5 team in the nation. If they have raised expectations only to have a losing season, he will be in big trouble. Probably not enough to get fired. but who knows.
Al Golden Miami
Since 2011 he is 31-23, but only 16-16 in conference. A losing year this year would be his third in a row meaning that he is a net loser with the players he has recruited. Probably needs a miracle.
Butch Jones Tennessee
Through his 2 1/3 seasons, Butch is 14-16 overall and just 5-13 in the SEC. he won at CMU and Cincinnati and probably deserves another season. That said, he cannot afford any more ugly losses than can be blamed on coaching mistakes.
Charlie Strong Texas
Normally, would not belong on this list, but he may have lost control of the locker room, which may result in calls for his head. Remember, it's arrogant Texas.
Darrell Hazell Purdue
5-24 since arriving at Purdue for the 2013 season, he is 1-16 in the B1G. WOW.
George O'Leary UCF
George is 69 and probably won't be coaching at 70.
Possible retirees?
Frank Beamer 68 years old
Steve Spurrier
